Instructions

  • Prep Chicken Cutlets:
    Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, then egg, then panko-Parmesan mix.

  • Cook Chicken:

    • Fry: Heat oil in a skillet and cook each side 2–3 minutes until golden and cooked through.

    • Air Fry: 400°F for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.

    • Bake: 425°F for 18–20 minutes, flipping once.

  • Make Caesar Dressing:
    Whisk mayonnaise, garlic, mustard, lemon juice, Parmesan, and seasonings until smooth. Chill 10 minutes.

  • Toast Bread:
    Brush bread with olive oil or butter. Toast until golden.

  • Assemble Sandwich:
    Spread dressing on bread, layer crispy chicken, Caesar-dressed romaine, and Parmesan. Top and slice.

Notes

For a lighter version, grill the chicken instead of frying.

Substitute Greek yogurt for half the mayo to boost protein.
